I just got an iPad today and I'm loving it so far. However, I've downloaded the twitter app and echophon, and I'm having trouble replying to tweets. When I used twitter for iPhone, all I had to do is double tap the tweet and you could scroll down to a reply button. This isn't happening with the iPad. What am I doing wrong?

Hi there.
For what ever odd rhyme or reason the iPad app for twitter is not all that VO friendly.

I highly reccomend trying out twitterrific.
It will open a popup when you tap on a tweet and you just find the reply or DM button and tweet away. :)
I have echofone as well, but I have yet to figure out how to interact with tweets.
The notifactations are great though.

I hope this helps?
I am wide awake at stupid AM here. :)

It does. I have twitterrific and for push notifications, I bought push 4.0. It works well with twitter, FB, and several other things. It will even let you set up lists and have notifications for those too I think. I'm still learning about it so I don't have all the answers.

Have heard good things about Voicebook, but I just use the Facebookin fool app from Facebook, and Twitter for Twitter.
There is also Flipboard which is supposed to present things in a magazine format. For awhile I used the Tweeetlist app on the iPod but don't know if that will help you on iPad and I don't think it did push, or I was being my typical social networking numbnuts self and didn't know what I was up to.

Well the twitter app doesn't work so well on the iPad. That was the problem. It works fine on the iPhone though.
